Hi, I am LADY R. I come from a mix Haitian-Cuban family who stays true to its roots… especially in the kitchen! The combination of  those two cultures similar in many ways, gave a special touch in our Family recipes.

As the daughter of a chef, my mom passed on all her recipes to me, just as her mother did before here.

As these days time is more valuable than ever, I set out to modernize mom’s classic recipes.

They absolutely had to be able to be made fast, easily and painlessly…And even more importantly, I would not compromise on flavor. It had to taste better than “ok”. The perfect "Taste of the Caribbean."

After much experimenting, with many recipes from Spices, seasonings and Food  I created the Instant Haitian Marinad and Akra that even mom would approved of if she was still alive. But I hope that she is proud of me taking over the family legacy.
